I received an invoice in the mail which was asking for an additional filing fee and process after setting up a new non profit Inc with state of FL in May. The invoice states the process and fee is to get a certificate of status. I have a background in banking and finance and never heard of anyone having to pay or complete the process. I investigated and found out this is a newly created company with the state of Florida and I beleive they are targeting new businesses to make a profit. They aren't supplying an email address or phone number for disputes.

I am the treasurer of the non profit being targeted
