The scammer approached me by direct messaging on Instagram. They offered me an ambassador opportunity as an influencer . They gave me 3 options to choose from, if selected an option, i would get a product of my choice at a discounted rate, a link for my page for other people to use for a coupon code, and i would earn commissions on the amount of people using that link. I chose an item listed at $86.00 and i paid $36.50. I made this order on March 17, 2023. The order status is still only showing order placed. When i followed up on the delay, i received no response. When i looked up the charge on my back statement, i saw the name it came through my bank as. I researched this online and found that the business was dissolved in 2021. I have not received any further responses from the alleged business. Ive reported them through Instagram, and i am contacting my back in the morning to work on reporting it as fraudulent merchant services.
