we had an issue with our Fitbit, we called the help line number 888-890-2224 to get a replacement since we have a warranty, the guy asked us to download "GoTo Resolve" app from the Apple App store to try to access the fitbit app to fix the issue. He gave us different instructions that were very confusing, next to know that our capital one credit card was charged twice for $500 each time one time for me and a second time for my husband for an apple store gift cards. He called us the next day clamming that is was a mistake and he is trying to refund the money. He tried to make us send a request via PayPal or the cash app or even Zelle and he tried to use the following 2 emails addressed: [email protected] and [email protected] he said just put the code cnc for cancelation. We did not do that as we figured it out at that point that he was trying to scam us more. We contacted out credit card company and reported a fraud, we also contacted Apple but they were not able to help stop the gift cards, and we contacted Fitbit and reported the website and the number floating on google search and now we are reporting this to you. The main issue that is scary that he accessed my husband phone using that app and we don't know how much information he managed to get.
