Well this is embarrassing to admit but I am sure I am not the only victim here... so I did a voice search on Google to purchase a fishing license online and fishinglicense-usa.com was the first website to pop up on my phone. I entered the site, which looked totally legit to me and I entered all my contact information and cc info as well. Then after the transaction went through I got an email from my bank to let me know that the charge of $47.00 was made outside the United States to BARCELONA Spain! What?? So I called my bank and they said it's pretty common nowadays for companies to have their processing centers outside the USA, and to wait a few days to "see what happens". So I called the phone number shown on the website and got a voicemail stating that all operators are busy and to leave a callback number, that someone will return my call. I called several times and for each call I made I received an email saying that the transaction could not be completed, that they needed me to complete my information by filling out a form via a link in the email. I clicked on the link and a warning came up stating not to go any further because there is a virus contained in the form they wanted me to fill out.

So bottom line, they got my $47.00 and I did not and will not ever receive a fishing license from this fake company. This site looks totally legit but needs to be removed from the web!

I Googled “California fishing license” and one of the first searches to come up was www.fishinglicense-usa.com. I thought it was weird that the site asked for my state ID info, driver’s license info, and social security. I only provided my driver’s license number, and then paid the $49 fee. I received an email saying they needed more info, then a final email asking me to pay the CA State license fee of $55. That’s when I knew I should have listened to my gut after the site asked for my ss number because this site is a scam. It’s based out of Spain and involved with credit card theft, identity theft, and other fraudulent illegal activity.

Was looking to get my fishing license and came across this one. Charged me $47 for supposedly to assist me with getting my fishing license than requested to pay an additional $55 for the license itself. They requested all my personal information including SSN, sent me a confirmation email and an additional $.99 was charged to my card for i don't know what reason. So a total of $48 drafted from my debit card and I also found out this website was scamming others as well. Requested a refund because I went to Walmart and got the fishing license with in 2 minutes with my I.D., they replied saying there is no refund. I come on the ScamPulse.com to find out there is multiple times they have scammed people.

My employer wanted to purchase me a fishing license to be able to perform extra duties in my job. She found this website and we ordered a fishing license. The next day, I received an email asking for additional information such as my license and social security numbers. I provided these trusting that my boss knew the website was not a scam. The website looked authentic, the email communications seemed authentic, etc. I received no fishing license.

This website makes it sound like they will get you a fishing licence for $47. I found out that was not true an hour after I filled the application out and asked for a refund and they just gave me the run around.

Googled "fishing license application". The first link was from fishing license-usa.com. It looked very similar to the fishing license application I had previously Googled. I clicked on it and applied. I was on vacation and my guard was down.

It requested personal information via email. Further research shows the location of the company is in Spain. The website showed that we had the option to cancel prior to completing the application. I requested to cancel, my funds were still pending per bank, but cancellation for license was denied by company. Tried calling on phone, only answering message saying they are busy, unable to assist caller. Tried to locate the website a few days later, to enter a fraudulent report to Google, but now the website is now taken down. I looked in ScamPulse.com Fraud and see someone else also fell for this scam recently.

Company claims to sell you fishing licences for your state online. Says on its website the price includes the licence, but after you pay they e-mail you again asking for more money. Refuses to refund your purchase. Company is located in Spain.

Website looks similar to another scam fishing license site called "FishingLicense.Org"
