Fish Courier LTD Reports & Reviews (1)

- Kalamazoo, MI, USA

First contact was made on www.hoobly.com a website where people post about animals. I contacted the seller asking for information on French Bulldogs. A text message was sent to me via the seller indicated that they no longer had dogs but he provided an additional email address and told me to reach out to the second contact and tell them that Paul told me to call them. The secondary person reach out via email indicating that they had already sold one dog and shipped it to Georgia, seller proceeded to send pictures and video of the dogs and other buyer. He indicated that he needed to sell the dog to a good home because his wife had been in an accident and he needed to tend to her. He told me he would ship the puppy with papers and all information to me for $710. Told me that I would need to use Bitcoin and provided an address to send the money. The next day I received a text message from the seller saying that the shipping company was going to require that I purchase temporary insurance for the dog and would be reimbursed for this money when the dog was delivered to me, that he would provide a certificate that I would show and they would give me cash. I wired $900 for this. I was told the dog would arrive at 10:30am the next day. I received a text message at 6:30am that there had been another delay at the shipping company because they had mixed my tracking number up with ANOTHER person shipping a dog who happened to have the same name as me. An email was sent to me by the seller stating that they had mixed up the cost of the insurance for the breed of the dog and another $1500 was going to needed to be sent in order for the dog to be shipped. This seemed logical and he provided an email so I sent the money. After I sent this money I tracked the shipping and on the website the tracking continued to say “in process” I texted the seller asking why the order was not being processed and he proceeded to tell me that the regulations to ship a dog had changed and he was trying to come up with an additional $1,000 for a specific crate that the dog needed to be shipped in. He did not want to ask me for this money because I had already sent so much and because there was already a mix up. The then said he was going to have his friend venmo me the money so I could see that he was good for it and that he was also going to try and come up with the remaining $500. I got the venmmo and transferred it into bitcoin. I finally started to feel like this was a scam and started looking into the shipping company and the pet insurance. When I called the pet insurance people they clarified that they do not issue insurance the way the seller described and that I was getting scammed. When I realized it was a scam I blocked the caller and put a lock on my account. I was too late, they had scammed $3,100 out of me. No puppy.
