I was doing business with them and around the time I was supposed to get paid the website i used to sign in I can’t they are not responding to my emails or phone calls or anything. I’m a little confused as to who they are and if they are even a real business

I AM SUPPOSED TO INSPECT PACKAGES AND SHIP THEM BACK TO THE COMPANY. THEY EXPLAINED THAT I WILL BE ON PROBATION FOR (1) MONTH AND I WILL GET PAID $2,400+ $45 BOUNS FOR EVERY PACKAGE THAT IS SENT OUT ON TIME. MY PAYMENT DATE WAS STATED ON 3/7/2023 I HAVE NOT RECIEVED ANYTHING, I ALSO HAVE BEEN CALLING THEM NO REPLY. THEN IN THE AGREEMENT IT STATES THAT I WILL GET PAID 30 OR 31 DAYS AFTER MT FIRST PACKAGE IS SENT BUT I NEED CLARIFACTION ON THAT AND NO ONE IS RESPONDING TO ME.

They responded to an indeed job recruiting site. They asked me to fill out a w4 and I started receiving packages to go through and re-mail. Everything seemed to be fine until it was time to get paid. Now I'm not getting any response from them at all.

I was called by someone in HR, they did a brief interview and offered a position as package inspector. They provided a contract of employment, with a salary of $2400/month. Packages are shipped to my address, I open them and make sure the item is undamaged and that the quantity is accounted for. I take a picture of the package invoice, a picture of the items inside, upload said images, and then a downloadable PDF shipping label is provided online. I take the package to UPS, USPS, or FedEx and get a receipt after it is shipped out. I take a picture of the receipt and upload that as well. Each package shipped is a $45 bonus. Logging onto the portal [https://fl-officeusa.com/user/login.php] 3 times per day grants a $150 bonus for attendance. Supervisor phone numbers and emails are provided, but no one answers the calls or responds to the emails.

This co. Looks very legit website, all the people you talk to. It was 2400. A month with 45 bonus on shipments that went out early or on time. And 100 for packets you picked n if thosr went out on time you would still get the 45.

What get me was I downloaded my W4 form but I was not able to electronically sign it so I scanned & ive 5 xs just this week. Mmy pay date is wrong which won't because if there is not a key signed W4 on file how would they know what & how much taxes I want held from my check.

The company is called First Lane Logistics US. They reach out about a potential job opportunity as a package inspector. They mention starting pay is $2,400. For every package shipped is $45 received and for every package picked up and shipped is $100 received. Three different people reached out. First one was Sheryll Davidson: (620) 206-1050: [email protected].. Second one was Jason Hiss: (620) 206-1043: [email protected] and the third was Agatha Thompson: (620) 206-1041: [email protected]. The website is https://firstlanelogisticsus.com/warehouse. They will send several emails trying to get you to fill out a W-4 form but I didn’t because I am 100% sure I didn’t apply to this job and they were not getting my personal information. I do have “authorization letters with IDs attached to them from a few “customers” they tried to get me to pick up items for but I didn’t pick them up because it was suspiciously always at a Walgreens store. So I never went and told them the employees wouldn’t allow me to get them. Jason was the one constantly calling to try and urge me to pick them up and sending “authorization letters.” Told him the same thing repeatedly that I wasn’t allowed to pick them up. If you receive an email that ends in @fllemail.com with and address of 1108 Industrial Blvd # 3, Winfield, KS 67156 don’t fall for their foolery. Luckily I have a brain that works well enough to know when someone is trying to scam me.

Police Report

When contacting non-emergency 311 regarding my realization that my new

remote employer was a scam I was advised there was no need for a police report

but passed me to a detective in my district (12) when I protested.

The detective reaffirmed that a report was unnecessary.

My hope was that someone would make use of my information to trace phone numbers to isolate their location as well FedEx/UPS accounts used.. I signed an employment contract, provided banking and SS info, without realizing that [censored] can be so sophisticated. Being old school I followed orders until I was instructed to pick up a package at Walgreens using a Letter of Authorization from someone with a copy of a Driver's License attached.

Walgreen released the package but UPS declined. Since I provided my license assuming I will be used likewise.

Discovered I ( and Walgreens/FedEx/UPS) was caught up in what appears to be a prevalent scam known as reshipping.

They are trying to hire me to reship items from my house

- San Antonio, TX, USA

They reached out to me via email and I was hired as a package inspector. They have a full website in their email signature that has us.com extension at the end, but when you search just the name, it has a similar company but located in Kenya. It was really hard to find info on their company by google search unless you go on their link, I still went through with it. It seemed really professional at first. They have a full contract written out, a dashboard where you log in to for all the work you do, i would get phone calls from different managers to walk me through the job details. They explained that most of their customers are from overseas and they shop a lot of items and most websites don't offer to ship them in their country and if they do it cost a lot of money. So their company consolidates all their shopping for them and put all the items in one package so it's less cost for the customer with all the shipping fees for multiple products and customs fees. So I thought that made sense why they would need a middle man. My salary would be $2400/month plus $45 per package delivered on time. Most packages will be delivered to my home and I would reinspect it before sending it out overseas, and they pay $100 for special packages that required to be picked up from UPS or FEDEX. All the shipping labels are prepaid, and they would send a form for reimbursement for gas and packing supplies. But I kept thinking, it seemed too good to be true and good money for what my task is. The other red flag for me was getting paid a month later which they explained was my probation period, then after that it's every two weeks. I thought that was too long not to get paid for, so I kept trying to find out more about the company. I finally searched package inspector scam, and there it was I found a lot of info similar to my situation except I haven't started the job. The scam is you will not get paid for all the work you do. You won't be able to login and the managers won't contact you back and these products are supposedly bought from stolen credit cards and you might be in danger of committing fraud because your address is used for all these products.
