My wife was contacted by Jessie, she told her that First Choice Gateway would get our back mortgage payments paid without having to pay it back and get my mortgage payment lowered. She said they would go through texashomeownersassistance.com It took them 3 months to get anything done (done meaning any kind of paperwork to us from anywhere because they never did get ANYTHING DONE) and they did that to get as much money out of us as possible making us almost lose our house. Finally I got some paperwork from my mortgage company saying” Retention” on it. I immediately got on the web site I gave above and started filling out the form online. I then called texashomeownerassistance.com if there was ever ab account before the one I just created or if anyone had called as a third party on my behalf. They told me no, there was no such call or communication from First Choice Gateway. They said they would put my assistance in immediately and try to help me as quick as possible. First Choice Gateway called my wife that afternoon , a man named Rick. He claimed to own the company and said for her to hurry up and sign those forms from my mortgage company. She asked him why they didn’t do the program they promised and he said they tried but they weren’t taking any new applications. She informed him that we had just filled an application out and they excepted it and were starting the processes. Rick said well they weren’t taking applications but, must be now. She told him she asked them if they weren’t excepting applications at any time or anything that could cause yall to not do your job and they said no they have been excepting applications the whole time. He hung up on her. But before he hung up she informed him she was recording the call and that’s when he blew up on her. Saying she couldn’t record the call without him knowing and my wife said I can to record a call without you knowing if your committing a crime. Then he called me trying to say my wife was being irrational, and that I needed to sign the papers and that they lowered my payment for my mortgage and everything. When in fact, my payment went up, so they lied about everything and he just tried to hurry up and get me to sign them before my wife could even talk to me. I filed a complaint on the Better Business Bureau and their response was we were not clients of theirs and they did not know who we were. Well, if that’s the case, then that’s all the more reason that we should get our money back! They have blocked me, they won’t accept my calls, they won’t return our emails, and they have tried to play me and my wife against each other so many times! These people are literally like cancer we just want our money back! They had us pay the first 500 and a check and take a picture of it and then pay the rest through Zelle. Which my wife thought was really weird, but Jesse was very insistent that it was completely normal. The reason they did that is because they knew that it was not gonna be as easy to get our money back. These people have been doing this for a long time, they knew exactly how to get the money without asking it back they knew exactly what to say. They knew exactly what they needed. I mean, we had no chance no chance at all.
