This company they call themselves First Recovery Associates said I owed a payday loan. i said I never had a payday loan. They called me, my sister, and my mother in law. We recently bought a new Jeep and that is when the calls started coming. They must have gotten our information because that is the only way our three phone numbers could be connected. We financed through *** Bank so they must have tapped into our information that way. They will not give me a supervisor nor will they tell me how this supposed money was deposited and where and for how much. They are terribly nasty and rude and I told them I was informing the authorities. PLEASE help they are severely harassing us.

Company called First Recovery Associates is calling my family looking for me, they are definitely a scam. They state that I have a payday loan that I owe and that if I don't pay immediately that I will be arrested. Due to blocking all unknown numbers, they can't call me, so they have somehow located phone numbers for my family and are now calling them. It is impossible that I owe anyone money since I have no payday loans. There is no number that comes on the caller ID of my family members, and the person never leaves a name. Only says to have me call 1-844-290-7031 and give claim number 3981987.

My mother was getting calls on her cell asking for me, by my maiden name. I called the number back 844-290-7031 and got in touch with a company calling themselves "First Recovery Associates." They claim to be a mediation firm for debt collection for a company called OPD Solutions LLC. They told me I had taken a pay day loan for $400 back in 2012. They were able to provide the last 4 of my social, the last 4 of an old bank account, and an address I lived at in 2008. I told them I had never taken a loan, that bank account had been closed for years, and I hadn't lived at that address in nearly 8 years. At first I thought this was something an ex boyfriend had done in my name (he had done things like this before) so I told the person at First Recovery that I was not going to be paying anything today, and that I was going to get a lawyer to fight it. They threatened to take me to court and that this would severely affect my credit. I told them I knew they had to provide proof that I was the one who took out the loan, and the caller became more aggressive with their threats. I told them that I would do what I needed to do, and they can do what they think they need to do. They hung up.

First Recovery Associates called multiple times from four different numbers saying the call was about a claim for my sister. When we called the number, they asked for a social security number. Asking them to quit calling did not stop.

Monica Allen has been calling me for about a year or longer saying she is from First Recovery Associates. She said I owe money to a payday loan and if I do not pay I will have to go to court and pay all legal fees. She said FRA was accredited with BBB and I could check them out. I even told her I was going to call the police and she said feel free to put her on a three way call. At first I told her I knew she was trying to scam me but she sounded so convincing that I thought maybe someone had taken a loan out in my name or that I might actually owe this. I finally broke down in December when my mother was in Hospice. I just couldn't take the calls anymore. I asked if I made a payment if she would stop harassing me. I agreed to make a payment of fifty dollars per month until it was paid. I feel like I have been scammed so I contacted my credit card company and told them to stop any more payments from coming out. I know something isn't right because she has made reference to a Global Recovery Associates or Global Gateway Solutions. I do not know what to do now since I know she will be calling everyday.

First Recovery Associates have contact me via phone. It starts off as a recording asking if you are blank and of so stay on the line. Then the recording gives you a claim number. They had my name, current address and the last four of my social security number. They say the debt is for a short term loan from prior to 2011 but have told me two different company names when asked who it is owed to. They listed off a bank that I was a member off ten years ago and have not had an account there since. They also state that they have contacted me via mail at my current address which I have received nothing. These individuals are rude. It is very convincing because it sounds like a call center in the back ground. When I Googled this company their is no information. I have also checked my three credit reports and their is not any information about this debt. They have stated that they will serve me papers if I do not pay it. They call everyday. They have also called two other family members homes asking for me. One time they claimed that I owned a student loan. The last call I received they hung up on me because I was saying ok instead of yes.

I have received several phone calls from first recovery associates stating that I took out a payday loan from a few companies and they weren't able to pin point which company that I owed. Only that the loan had been sold to "Financial Holding," and I owed 450 back in 2010 and I need to pay either make payments or provide a credit card. This company has somehow contacted my relatives and family members stating that I owe money. I have filed a chapter 7 bankruptcy and included any and all information in the chapter 7. I was provided with a fax number 305-504-0709. I faxed over a copy of the chapter 7 to include the cease and desist but they continue to call. They refuse to provide me with an invoice or bill. I have been informed that if I want to phone calls to stop I have to pay.

I have been contacted by a company called First Recovery Associates, that I owed on a payday loan 390.00 from sometime before 2012-----All they would say is that the company I was being pursued by was SGQ Ltd. I have never recieved any delinquent notice on any payday loan, nor have I ever defaulted on such a loan.

They have my social security number, address and phone and continue to harass daily with several phone calls.

All I asked if there were such a non payment of a loan -why was I not notified? or called by anyone back in 2012

they can not and will not give any infor as to when the loan was transacted or with whom, just under the umbrella of SGQ Ltd. I would like the attorney general to investigate this harrassment and quite rude behavior of such a company

There is a company by the name of First Recovery Associates and Recovery Associates that call three to four times a day with various file numbers with a recording stating to call them because they are holding a claim in their office for me and my husband. The numbers they are calling from is (844) 226-8637 and (844) 298-4707 they state that my husband and I have taken out a online payday loan however they never give us the name of the company and what they are saying isn't true. This is a fraudulent practice and they need to stop.

I keep getting phones calls on my home and cell phones by an automated call with a claim#. When I finally was able to speak to someone they said it was for mack development group which I've never heard of. Once I said it was a scam she got nasty and said I'll see you in court.

The number 844-202-1613, has been vmcalling reportedly over the last few weeks. Leaving messages on mine and my husband's phone, stating they had a claim in my name. They called from a New Jersey number and when I called back it said that if I was receiving the auto messages it was a scam. I called the number they left and she wouldn't give any information because I wouldng confirm my social. She KNEW my social. Claimed it was with First Recovery Associates and her name was Jane. I told her all information pointed to them being fraudulent and she got very hateful and rude. Called more than once to see who I got each time.

person - persons called and said i owe a debt from 2012 and demanded i pay or ill be in court...when i told them they were wrong they got pretty irate/mad tried to argue and say i will be arrested then hung up on me...they continue to call but i quit answering...they have tried to contact relatives but they know not to answer....the company seems to have my social security number and not sure they have my whole bank account...they will not give me information like address nor local phone number ...name of company trying to collect is first recovery associates phone numbers they are calling from are 844-202-1613 and 844-279-7426

First recovery associates called stating I owed for a pay day loan, would not send me a notice in the mail stating the client has tried to many times,i have moved but my address has always been changed at the post offfice, after talking to someone i googled there business name and nothing came up as well as in the bbb.org site as well no sign of the business
