I found on www.usclassifieds4all.com a 1956 Mercedes 190SL being sold by a guy named Richard GROFF was supposed to be the owner, when contacted he noted he was working offshore with Oceaneering International and he provided a phone number to review questions but relied on email. The shipping agent that was contracted to deliver the vehicle was Steven Acker with First Legacy Auto Sales. When I asked for a VIN info, a VIN matching the vehicle was provided. When calling to check on the deivery I was able to reach Steven and get an update with specific details each time.

They had a very litigitimate looking website that had registration to begin the transaction, a username and password protected login, and means of tracking the process. The business is actually listed on the ScamPulse.com website:
