My 85 year old mother received a card in the mail asking her if she wanted to know more information about what social security benefits are available for my disable older sister. She filled out the card thinking that she would be mailed additional information. Instead of receiving the requested information via mail or receiving a phone call to discuss, a random person shows up at their door, without an appointment, and pressures them into buy life insurance for my disabled sister. They requested my mother give them her banking information so that they can make automatic withdrawals from her account. Their unethical business practices of knowingly targeting an elderly person, who has a disable adult living with them, together with just showing up at their door without an appointment is a blatant attempt to take advantage and prey on the elderly. Luckily, I found about about it and cancelled the policy immediately after having an irate conversation with First Financial Insurance Group.
