Type of a scam Debt Collections

I have been called by this company demanding money regarding a credit card account my husband has in his name. This account they are referring to is currently being paid through a law firm. They are harassing me, will not give me a phone number, have used foul language repeatedly, and demanded I give them my bank account information. They have called my phone number, my husband's phone number, my mother and father, and my husband's mother and father. They threatened to have a court summons sent out the next day if we did not give them a down payment of $250.00 that day. I ended up hanging up on "Brad" when he used foul language and threatened to garnish my wages.
