I got a phone call from Brian Peterson, Senior officer, First Colonial Mortgage at14431 Ventura Blvd, Suite # 432, Sherman Oaks, CA 91423 I to finance my home mortgage at an attractive interest rate of 1.99%, but needs to pay $1,870.00 upfront fees. They cashed up my check, but never heard from him again. I have the signed check and would like to ask how can I receive my money back? Should I report this case to the FBI in Washington, DC, or any other authorized Agency ? My address is 3101 N. Hampton Drive #1404, Alexandria, VA 22302

I got a phone call from Justin Santiago and Erin they said they will give 1.99% interest rate for a refinance and needs to pay $ 1870.00 for title and deeds fees. They cashed up my check . I tried to call for several times but it just ring and ring and
then hung up.

I received a call from Aaron Taylor who claimed to be working with First Colonial Mortgage Companies California who offered a refinance opportunity for my current loan. He did a pre-approval and immediately, and said that I was going to receive an email from Brian Peterson, who was his senior Mortgage Advisor. Aaron pretended to have no email communication previledge, the next day.

Brian Peterson emailed to me he promised preapproval agreemen o sign and return to him within eight days with a $1870.00 check to pay my next escrow due, money that would be returned at he closing of the refinanced loan. They were a direct lender and not a loan servicing company.
My check was cashed immediately even before Brian called me to say that they had received that document.

I have tried to contact them several times, but there is always none to receive the calls, main number or Brian's direct - 1-818-762-2905.

We did a search to find Mortgage Companies to refinance and we received a call from Edison Miller at First Colonial Mortgage in California. He did a preapproval and we worked with him several weeks. We were directed to Aaron Taylor a Senior Mortgage Advisor who then worked with us. I had my suspicions because every time we called it took days to get ack to us and the phone number did not have a greeting from the company. It went to a voice mail box. I even called the state to find out of they were approved as a lender. I questioned Aaron and he said that they were a broker, not a lender. We were told there was no fees from the company as they were a broker and we only needed t pay the appraisal fee and the title search. I paid them 1870.00. The check was stamped with a First Colonial Mortgage stamp said, Pay to the order of Saiqa Rahmann.I have tried to contact them several times, called the police dept in LA and filed several reports. The fax number no longer picks up and the address is a mail box in a strip mall. They are SCAMMERS. Beware!!

Aaron Taylor contacted us from first colonial mortgage company in California. I was very skeptical at the time he sent us many emails about a 1.99% mortgage. He said the program was backed by the Dodd agency and he had guidelines which he provided us. We reviewed the website and the reviews.I contacted him about the company and he seemed very sincere. We had to pay 1820 towards our cost of appraisals and title search. We have not heard from him cents and he does not return our phone calls

Arron Taylor contacted me and said he could get me a 1.99% mortgage . He said I would have to pay $1500.00 up front for a advanced fee loan since I paid this I have been unable to contact anyone at this company. I have sent several emails to Aaron and called him several times and he has not returned any of my calls
