They called my husband, said they were a contractor for Windows, said they needed to upgrade the computer. Ended up sending 120 to them to upgrade.........computer had been running slow. A month later they called back and said they needed to update Windows, for another $100. (they said they were giving me a deal) I asked them for invoice # from last time, amount, why they need more $ and the guy became abusive. I told him then to get off the computer, they were a SCAM. They then proceeded to lock up my husbands laptop to where we could not get into it

without a passcode, the one we had, didn't work anymore. We ended up having to get a new computer because none of the reset options would work ( we have a friend in IT, and he couldn't help)
