RECEIVED THIS E-MAIL, FROM THE ADDRESS: [email protected] - this is apparently not a valid e-mail address because when I tried to input it into the e-mail address field, there is a message saying it is not valid. There is a phone number to call in the e-mail message: 210-817-9376 and it is supposedly in San Antonio, Texas. The man that answers has a predictable Indian accent, stuttering as he tries the scam. The message in the e-mail mentions that the supposed FIREWALL PROTECTION will expire in June, but the e-mail is dated in August, so if this were true and they could automatically charge me, it would have already happened 2 months ago, but it had not! Same people had tried the same story 2 years ago, so I knew the drill already.

CALLED THE NUMBER, AND THERE'S A FLIMSY STORY ABOUT HOW WHEN YOU BUY ANY COMPUTER YOU SIGN AN AGREEMENT AND PAY $300 FOR FIREWALL PROTECTION (MEANWHILE THE LAPTOP ONLY COSTS $299!!! IF WHAT HE SAYS IS TRUE, WHY DID I NOT GET CHARGED $599???) THEY HAVE NO WAY OF AUTOMATICALLY CHARGING YOU BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE YOUR CARD NUMBER, SO I IMAGINE THEY TRY TO CONTINUE TALKING UNTIL THEY GET THAT CARD NUMBER, SO ONLY A TOTAL FOOL WOULD FALL FOR THIS, PLEASE BEWARE AND DON'T LET THESE GUYS FOOL YOU. I'VE COPIED THE TEXT FROM THE E-MAIL:

"Dear ,Customer

Thanks for using our services.

We are sending this email to remind you that your FIREWALL PROTECTION will expire on 2020-06-29 as

you are an existing user of our FIREWALL service.

Your protection plan will renew automatically and you will be charged $429.00 which will be

deducted directly from your registered bank account.

If you are not satisfied with our services then kindly leave us a call +1 (210)-817-9376

for lifetime cancellation of the service and so no debit will be charged from your account.

"

Cancel a firewall subscription that’s not in my name or $299 will get deducted from my bank acct. go to computer to down load a cancelation document or use your smart phone to download this form after they give you numbers you have to input, Needs done right now. Only way to cancel is to download this cancellation form and two different men can help you with this. Both men have international accents. The second man wanted to know why I thought they were scammers and got upset with me and hung up on me. I asked numerous times of both men to have mailed me a letter about this or give me a number I could return a call after I speak with a lawyer about this.

Scammer called and said that I have been using free firewall protection on my computer but now need to pay $499 immediately to keep it, or pay a one time $99 to have it disconnected. Scammer has a foreign accent and did not give his name. The scammer originally left a voice mail message and I called the number back and it was the scammer.
