I searched internet for Yorkie puppies. This came up and appeared legit. I filled out contact info to ask questions. I received a text back immediately introducing herself as Jennifer and her husband as Briant. We went back and forth on info and I was told if I hurried I could get the selected puppy tomorrow. We continued and there was confusion on getting her Zelle info. She kept asking if I received the email, I had not. When I finally received the email, the payment info was not associated to the business name. The name listed was Tai Young at [email protected]. Big warning again. The texting language usuage was slightly off, but I still pursued info. I decided to wait 20 mins to respond again, as she wanted me to call her with the payment info. I wanted to give some distance and also needed to charge my phone. I finally decided to check internet for scam, and Finest Yorkie Home was the biggest puppy scam. I went back to her and said we had a large payment due shortly and needed to wait a month, and thanked her for all the info. She replied, ‘I knew it, you were just disturbing me.’ I said I was sorry she felt that way and knew she would find a home for the puppy. Her response ended in ‘[censored]you’. So I’m grateful enough delay happened for me to research. Fortunately, only my name, address, and phone number was shared...no banking, or other govt ID numbers. I lost no money only time.
