I received an email saying that I have check that is outstanding. It is at risk of going back to the state within 45 days from the date of the letter. They were asking for personal information.

My resume is posted on Indeed.com I was sent an email stating my resume was reviewed and inviting me to apply for a position of Personal Assistant. This was not unusual because I have received numerous emails about my resume and I also applied for another Personal Assistant position. I applied for a position, completing an online application form. I received a "Congratulations, you hired" email. Next I received an email stating the job details, pay $540/wk and benefits. Then I received an email with instructions - You will receive a check from my finance for $4,835.70, deduct your pay $540, deduct $200 and purchase toys for 3 kids, age range and sent to Hope & Home (a foster care organization) 4945 N 30th St, Colorado Springs CO 80919. The check took a week to arrive to me although it was sent Express Mail. I received the check that was from 'Fidelity Investments/Fidelity Management Trust Company, drawn on Deutsche Bank Trust Company Delaware check. Check was addressed to me. So as not to get frauded out of my own money, I opened a completely new account at my bank and deposit the check. Within 3 days the check was returned as altered.
