Walmart Secret Shopper - A check was sent to me in the mail to purchase 6 Walmart gift cards from two locations. The gift cards were for $499 each. I was to also evaluate the stores, and describe my experience. The fraudulent check was in the amount of $3,486.21, and whatever was left after the purchases was my pay. After it was discovered that it was a fraudulent check, I had to sign an affidavit with my bank, and they recovered the funds by taking it out of my bank account, along with fees. I’m a newly divorced, mother of two, living off of alimony & child support.
