My husband received a call on Nov.7th 2016 from someone claiming to be with the Federal Reserve Bank (NY) and that he was selected to receive grant money owed to him. Well he was sceptical and knew it sounded like a scam but they convinced him to send $250 via iTunes cards to reserve the $9000+ claiming was owed. As soon as I was told about what he done I researched and seen it was a scam. These people had also been calling and sending me ( his wife) email and phone calls for several months prior.
