was contacted through Facebook by a lady telling she would try and help me get more money and they would match what ever I sent them.   Send money to them on gift cards.

I was thinking that it was to good to be true. And when they asked me to hand over my Facebook password and email. I knew then that it was a scam and it was something very very fishy.

I received a message on Facebook messenger about FEMA giving away money due to the pandemic. I was told that if I invest a little (like $200) I would receive a lot ($2,000). They asked for my cash app info and email and said I would receive my payment through that. Next thing I know, I’m getting notifications left and right stating that transactions are being made through apple pay and cash app directly out of my bank account. $500 of it was taken from me and turned into Bitcoin then sent to an unknown email address. $1800 was taken by apple pay and sent to another unknown email. I’ve tried to dispute the transactions with both Apple Pay and cash app for weeks now and I’m told that they cannot be reversed or they won’t approve my claim stating it was all authorized. I feel humiliated and stressed out because I really needed my money for bills during these hard times.

Contacted me on facebook messenger to start with and asked for my cash app hashtag sent a picture of a Georgia drivers license so I would feel more comfortable stated FEMA would deposit $5700.00 in my cash app account all I had to do was add $500 to my account 1st. Then asked for a phone number they could contact me I send a phone number not associated with the account and they texted me from (412)530-6879 and asked how payment do I want I said $5700.00 they then said add $500.00 to your cash app balance, then I stopped communicating with them.

I saved the photo of the drivers license they sent me.

Used Cashapp for payment of $600 to receive payment to total 15,000 in one month from FEMA.

Used Cali Id scanning for my face identification

First contact was from WhatsApp # is from Nigeria then was sent to someone in in California WhatsApp Id pic of licenses from New York one from Cali was id n ss from Texas I have screenshot of all info n conversations if needed I feel they will use mine also too as I provided id n ss they ask for front n back of each.

I was told fema is helping people that are affected by covid 19 by giving money when you pay 100$ for It ’s term and condition of the company to pay for the PVC charges to verify any payment method. It depends on the amount you pay on how much money you will get back.

Individual posting on Facebook that she worked for FEMA and there were cash prizes for people that could find one different letter in a group of letters. When messaged, to mess with her and prove her foolishness, she persisted to try to get me to send her hundreds of dollars through cash app to get a larger amount of cash back. I told her absolutely not, and she give me her state ID, told me over and over it was “legit and real” and even tried calling me when I kept saying no. She was very pushy about it being “legit”. When I said please stop, she blocked me.

James Morgann found me on Facebook and sent a message. Asked how much money did I need? I asked, what did I have to do to hey the money. He said register my CashApp with the company......FEMA, and pay a $25 registration fee

I was called by a foreign accented man who said he was "FEMA" That is also what appeared on my caller ID. He wanted me to give him my Social Security number. He claimed I did not fill out all the paperwork when I got vaccinated.
