A company saying they were FSC contacted me on my work phone (government phone number) and said that I had outstanding payday loans dating back to 2012, 2013 and 2014. And they were contacting me for the loan companies to settle. I told them I didn't have any payday loans. When i asked them for the names of the loan companies, at first they wouldn't give me the information. They said if I paid them it would prevent court action from the lenders. They finally gave me a name and I looked it up. It said there was a scam with this lender and to contact the ScamPulse.com and the Federal Trade Commission. I asked for the FSC wesite. Again, they were reluctant to give it to me, and finally a "supposed" supervisor came on and gave me profinmax.com as their website. I typed it in and a one-line language that I did not recognize came up and the rest of the page was blank. When I told them the lender said it was a scam, they said they would remove it from the amount, and just asked me for payment to two other lenders. Then they offered me a 50% discount if I paid immediately. They gave me a File # 10538586. I told them no, and they said they would return my answer to the lenders. I hung up. This morning, I received another call from the same phone number referencing another File #HAM2792368. These calls are coming to my work number and I need them to stop. They had all my personal information, addresses, phone numbers, mentioned the last four digits of my Social Security number, family members and some names that were not family members, but the same last name as mine. They also had a bank account that I did not recognize. Our governments were hacked late last year, and I am afraid that I may be a victim of this. Another of my work mates also received a strange call regarding his bank account.
