When googled USPS jobs I came upon a website called federaljobsassist.com I didn’t realize that it wasn’t part of USPS because it had terms and conditions, and it was copyrighted. It looked absolutely legitimate and legal. It said that I needed to register first then pay a 30ish dollar fee to get a hiring coach who will give tips on how to pass the assessment and interview. It said if I don’t get an interview then I can get my money back. So I paid the fee. I later received an email from the “ hiring coach” with all kinds of information and even an example of the assessment test on there. They didn’t really give you the answers but it was one of the versions of the actual test without the answers. When I went to take the real test, there were so many of the same questions. I felt super prepared, and I passed the test with a 93. Now I have seen that the USPS put out a statement that they don’t charge anything to apply or test.
