Called, talking about eligible to receive a federal grant. Two men both of indian descent. one verified my info, the other was for confirming the info, you know how they do it............Could barely speak good english-thick accent. Wanted me to purchase 250.00 itunes cards to be reimbursed for a 7000 to 10000 grant, with the 250.00 being reimbursed and added onto the grant. any way they were suppose to give me a reference # for the money to be received moneygram, but the place they sent me to to buy the cards didn't have a money gram outlet and t seemed really suspicious.

Received a call from a lady saying she was from the Federal Reserve and that I was chosen to receive a free grant. She went on and on and then requested my bank account number so they can deposit the funds. I said no thank you and hung up.

My son was contacted by phone and offered a federal reserve grant for $7000 cash. He was advised to go to Wal-Mart and provide $285 to receive $7000 at Wal-Mart. They offered him several options to receive the money. They had his work information, his social security number, and private data. They gave phone number 208 - 973 - 3945 with an extension of 204 for employee Jordon. They said it had to be accepted within 1 hour, and he could not tell anyone about it.
