When speaking with the scammers, I noticed a thick accent. The |"officer's" name was Mark Evan and even provided me with a fake badge and case number. They implied that I owed $4,000 in taxes to the federal gov't. Once I refused to provide how much money I had in my account the immediately threatened to have local police arrest me Unless i could pay the money immediately.
