I purchased a Drone Registration and ID's and got nothing. But I was charged $49.99 with no contact after the charges after repeated attempts to contact them.

Online store front posing as an FAA facilitating company to register your newly purchased drone... It appears that I'm not the only one to be duped... How many reports are needed to get a fraudulent website taken down? Now I feel as though my credit card number is in jeopardy.

This business claims to be the drone registry required to operate non-commercial and commercial drones in the United States. They are the first result on Google when "drone registration" is searched. They take your information and $25.00, explaining that this is all you need to do in order to be certified to pilot a UAS by order of new FAA regulations.

This is COMPLETELY FALSE. This "business" is NOT THE FAA. They cannot issue a drone certification nor do they send your information to the FAA in order to complete the registration process.

This business is operating illegally under 18 U.S. Code § 912, which states that "Whoever falsely assumes or pretends to be an officer or employee acting under the authority of the United States or any department, agency or officer thereof, and acts as such, or in such pretended character demands or obtains any money, paper, document, or thing of value, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both."

They are pretending to be an agency of the United States, in such demanding money.

Runs ads at top of search for "FAA drone registration" to prey on those who may not realize they do not actually represent the FAA.

Federal Drone Registration charges 5x the amount the FAA charges for registration.

I did not register with them, but I'm sure many have.
