Type of a scam Government Grant
Consumer received phone call claiming to be from Federal Department Human Services indicating that he had been selected to be eligible for a $14000 grant since he was a government employee. The call showed up as 807 on his caller id and they wanted him to call 917-818-1317 and provide information in order for him to collect this grant. They provided an address of 915 2nd Ave. Seattle WA 98174, which is a government office. Please note that government agencies will not contact individuals unsolicited regarding grants. Do not provide any information to anyone calling before verifying with a trusted source and separate source.
