I got a phone call a week ago from a woman who said I was eligible for an $8000 from the Federal Bank because of the epidemic. Then she transferred my call to another woman who told me to go to Dollar General, Rite Aid or CVS and buy three Google Playcards for $200 each. I used my SSD check to pay for the cards. I went to Dollar General and bought three Google Play cards. When I got back to the house I called her. She told me to scratch the numbers from the backs of the cards, and read her the numbers. She came back on the line a minute or two later, and said "Congratulations I was eligible for the $8000 grant and I could go to Walmart to pick it up". She gave me three different codes/routing numbers. I went to Walmart to pick up the grant through Moneygram. The clerk said the code number I had was 8 digits, but it should be 9. Since then I've received 2 texts; one from her/the bank she works for  and the other from the IRS saying the IRS has intervened in the transfer and I owe 10% in taxes. It has the IRS Symbol. Then I called her and she told me the funds were released from the bank. She says the IRS has stopped the transfer because they want their cut for taxes. She said the IRS wouldn't be able to release any information to me. But once I pay the 10%, I will get the grant money. She has an accent.
