This company called my cellphone and their number showed as "private" on my caller id. The message that was left saying that there have been changes on my student loans. I returned the call to get answers but no dice. Later, someone contacted me to discuss a possible student loan repayment plan. I gave them my information including my ssn, my userid for FSA, and banking account info to start one of my two scheduled payments. It wasn't too long before suspicion took over my feeble mind and i started making calls to different people and places. I called Federal Assistance back and. Told them my concerns being that they were not with the ScamPulse.com and the Departmemt of Education did not recognize them ( although i admit that they said on the website that they were private and not associated with the DOE.) I was also told that they used to go by the name "Student Advocates LLC" which is a suspicious narritave. This all happened today as of 3/16/2018 and there have not been any immediate effects that i know of yet so it might be too early to tell if i have truly been had.
