This call came in on my cell phone. The recording stated they were the "Federal Government" and that they were taking legal, criminal action against me "Press 1 to speak with a federal agent now." I hung up and blocked the call. Research showed that the phone number was actually 613-718-4744-5 and the call was initiated in Ontario, Canada. As a law-abiding citizen with no criminal background and being raised in a community of law enforcement, I felt compelled to make sure that others know about this apparent scam or attempt at hacking into your cell phone.

I received a scam call at 12:20 P.M. today. I should not have answered the call. The caller said my first name. I answered yes. The call was from Federal Agency. They did not give a specific name of an agency. Mentioned there was a problem. Stay on the line and press one. I hung up without pressing a number. The phone number in my caller ID was 282-387-7689. I know a federal agency would send a mailing.

Threat. I am being investigated by the government for fraud and money laundering. Evidently an arrest warant has been issued and I should contact them. It comes from 'a legal enforcement agency' against my social security number. My family is also being investigated. I have to press #1 to obtain more information before the warrant is sent before a judge. The originating number is (203) 515-1521.

Claims He's with a "Federal Agency",.In regards to a "Mega something" I was second prize winner. 450.000.00$ he gave me a code # to give to the delivery people 2marrow at home. Do I want Media or News papers to be there? Or just quietly recieve the Prize. I asked so when are you asking me for my SS#? Or my Credit Card #. He said He was'nt. Than he gave me this #to call to let these people know that the Feds found me. Now I can recieve the Prize. 702-425-6241. They had supposedly sent me letters and E-mails stating I won. I had never responded. So by Law their supposed to use "Every Means to contact me". So I call the other Number they told me to Call Frank Pierce Back told him to Check Fax. I could Hear him Run across room as if he had High Heels on. That was funny. At the end of the call He begins to say,"I needed to pay TAXES on it". So NOW HE NEEDS to give me a Phone #to call in my Credit Card #To pay up front 900.00$ for taxes. I told him I have NO MONEY.. I recieve SSD. He asked if I could barrow it from My family? He also said he'd look up an address close to where I live,a Tax building I could take the money to. He Has'nt called back with the Address. He kept telling me to try and get this paid today through the Bank.
