I received a call from "Tarrenc from Texas" he told me that he worked for the Federal student loans and was calling to check if i qualified for the loan forgiveness program. I have no federal student loans and i do work in a financial aid office therefore i knew for fact that this was a scam call however i decided to continue the call to gather some more information so i could report him. what they do is they call people knowing that the majority of us has some student loan debt and make them beleive that they qulatify for loan forgiveness plan BUT in order to active this the student will have to make 7 payment of $350 so the loans can be forgiven. Please make sure to follow up and track the phone number provided so we can reduce as much as we can this scam callers
