I was sent a message saying I had won an iPad and I would only need to pay $1-3 for shipping. Like a fool I put my bank card info in and it charged me $39.97 from a place called feast treat. I immediately sent them a message and told them to cancel. However when I checked my account the money was taken out of my account. I called the number associated with the charge 877.795.3617 and told them I didn’t give permission to take $39.97 out of my account. They gave me a cancellation confirmation number of C923024195; however it would take 3-5 days to return my money. They claim to be a 3rd party call service for feast treat. I don’t understand how they can take the money out in a matter of minutes but can’t return it that quickly. I was scammed. I did not authorize $39.97 for ANY purchase. They seemed shady when I called and I’ll be surprised if I get my money back. I wanted to report this so that it doesn’t happen to anyone else. The screenshot is when I immediately told them to cancel. It says it would be voided. However the money was taken out of my account anyway. I called them and they “claim” it will be canceled but will take 3-5 days to return my money.
