The scammer started by saying they were an FBI agent and my SS # had been compromised. They then asked where I banked (if I had checking/saving and the amounts in there) as well as to share my last four digits of my social and my address. They told a whole story that accounts had been opened in my name using my ss# and then the had been associated with drug trafficking and money laundering. Said the government was going to need to freeze all accounts.

They started pressing on me to transfer money and I pushed back and said no and I’d need to involve my husband at which point they hung up.
