Same as others. Same names used for all the people, same exact wording, same exact emails and such. I actually played along for an entire month and sent out 16 packages totaling $2746 according to their system. Had a login and all and they even were shopping packages to my address. It’s just weird and hard to understand the purpose?

A received a email from Neal Dittman (HR Specialist) with FBA DISC, INC. Dittman alleged that he saw my resume on CareerBuilder.com and my credentials matched a job for a remote fulfilment associate with FBA. The email said the job required receiving returned Amazon ordered packages from various delivery services and verifying the merchandise in the packages were undamaged. FBA would provide me with a shipping and I would take the package to the shipping service on the label. The email said I would receive a monthly salary of $2180.00 and an additional $30.00 for package I shipped. I received an email from Jamie Burgett ([email protected]) to sign a 30 day intern agreement with the company. I signed the intern agreement and was allowed access to the company's website and began receiving packages to my home. I downloaded shipping labels for each package and shipped them with the corresponding shipping label. My check date was supposed to be April 22, 2023, and I didn't receive payment. I attempted to contact the FBA representatives that contacted me and never got a response. My access to the company website with then cutoff. I then realized the job offer was a scam and cancelled my bank account I provided FBA for my direct deposit payments. The majority of my email communications were with a supposedly name Frank Stevens, whom I never spoke with on the phone.

I was applying for remote work. I received the following email:

“This is Jamie, writing in regards to your application.

You have been selected for the position of a Remote Fulfillment Assistant, and we feel confident that your abilities will be a great asset for our company.

We would like to extend an invitation for a 30-day internship - one that will be compensated.

This would provide you the opportunity to enter into a new industry and potentially open up the possibility of further opportunities.

Internships provide an opportunity for both the employer and employee to get to know one another and assess whether they are a suitable match.

In a span of a month, both parties can assess whether they want to continue with this association.

Do you find this proposition agreeable?

Sign the Internship Agreement and kindly send us a scanned copy or high-resolution photograph of it.

After all, this is an excellent chance to discover your potential career without taking any risks.

Thank you and have a pleasant day. I hope to hear back from you soon.

Over the next 30 days I exchanged multiple messages through the account interface with Frank. At his instruction I received packages, took photos of the contents and packing lists/labels and uploaded them, downloaded shipping labels and shipped the packages and uploaded photos of shipping receipts.

At the end of the 30-day internship I sent a message to Frank asking when my paycheck would be issued. There was no response. Two days after the payment due date I could not log on to the site. With base pay and supposed “bonuses” I’m due $2800.
