FB Bed Bath and Beyond Imposter Reports & Reviews (1)

• Jul 19, 2023

On the Bed Bath and Beyond official Facebook page, an ad came up, disguised as a Facebook post from Bed Bath and Beyond advertising a 70-90% off closing sale. The site (furniturehomes.shop) had the official Bed Bath & Beyond logo and the website had the lock icon on it, making it seem like it was safe to use. My spouse and I put about $230 worth of items into our cart and checked out using his credit card information, my phone number, name, address, and email. The next day, my husband found articles of similar scams happening. I got on the website, followed the listed order cancelation process which was to email the previously mentioned email. My husband cancelled his credit card, but the charges were finalized 3 days later. The website no longer works and I received an email the day after I’d emailed to cancel the order stating that the email delivery status was delayed and incomplete. I was never given an estimated shipment or delivery date on the items. It only said that they would be shipped “ASAP.”
