After purchasing my tickets, I received an email asking me to confirm my purchase and that I would receive my tickets and receipt within the first week of April. After the first week came and went, I emailed them at [email protected] and I never got a response. Then, I called them at 1(844) 660-0614 at least 4 times and I was told different things each time. One of the times being that I would receive them shortly, and the last one being that the airline cancelled my tickets and I would receive a refund in 10-15 business days.

Looking for an air ticket I found this site, https://www.faresoflights.com/ when enter my information the called and sent me an email with the ticket reservation. They insist for payment by card so I did pay. After the payment confirmation they never send any ticket or any information.

I kept calling but they said the payment never went thru. I told this guy Gary Morgan that the payment did in fact went thru and I had the bank statement in hand but he denied any payment and insist to call my bank. After that he never responded my phone calls

Booked a flight for 2 people Feb. 26th 2025 with faresoflights and got an email from them with booking ID number. But then no tickets.. So I called and asked when I would get my tickets and they told me second week of March. So I wait, then on the 13th of March which was two days before we were to leave, I notice all the horrible reviews so I started doing some checking and discovered Spirit airlines (the airlines we were to be on) also stated something similar to what faresoflights said- they don't issue tickets until they make seat assignments which is just before the flight. So I'm thinking the stories jive maybe I will get lucky but nope no luck. 24hrs before we were to leave, I call faresoflights to get a confirmation number and after being on hold briefly, they come back and tell me the reservation was cancelled due to "overbooking". I immediately hung up and started searching for another flight that's when I stumbled upon Expedia actively selling tickets for the exact same flight that faresoflights had cancelled! I wss outraged. The tickets on Expedia were more expensive by a couple hundred bucks so I called flightsofares again and confronted them about this and of course they gave me a bunch of mumbo jumbo, so I hung up on them and called Spirit Airlines directly and they didn't seem to mind that faresoflights was casting a dark shadow over their business practices and when I asked if they could book tickets they said sure for $300 more per person, no thanks. I called faresoflights a couple more time and got the same run around. I will spend the rest of my life trying to get these scammers shut down as they ruined my birthday and cost me my best friend and the money they stole for tickets plus I lost all the money to book a room because of last minute cancellation. Going to talk to my attorney next...class action maybe? Seems there is an awful lot of people who lost money to them.

My brother purchased two tickets in mid January and was told he would get seats confirmed by February 15 for a flight on February 21 and that never happened.

On February 18, after many calls and follow ups, he was told ****** Airlines did not award him a seat and that he would be reimbursed in 10-15 days which has not happened.

I then spoke to Daniel Smith on March 4 to ask when we can expect a credit and he told me the same thing he did in mid February which was within 10 to 15 days.

The customer service is absolutely terrible and no one contacts a customer with updates unless we take it upon ourselves to call. Even though they always pick up when we do call, no one is able to give you new information and you can sense they are stalling to come up with viable responses.

Should you need it, the customer service number is 844-660-0614.

The record of our transaction is *********** and we believe we have been the victims of a scam.

They do not have a presence on Instagram or Facebook even though their website shows the logos of both social media platforms.

I highly doubt we will get our $553.00 dollars back, but we will make sure their company is reported for being deceptive.

My Mother-in-law found a website (she's older) and decided to call the number to request help booking flights.

She then proceeded to book a flight in which Frontier Airlines would be the company we would fly with

after contacting Frontier Airlines they have no record of the 4 people that booked said flight and couldn't even see the name in their system.

While searching for travel tickets, I visited a website that suggested several options (https://us.jetcost.com). After selecting one, I was redirected to another page (https://www.faresoflights.com/) where I began the purchase process. Everything seemed normal—I was asked to provide passenger details and banking information to complete the payment.

After finalizing the transaction and clicking "accept," I didn't receive any confirmation email. A few minutes later, I got a call from (+1 844 660 0614) someone claiming to be an employee of the travel agency (Patrick Hall ). They informed me that there had been an issue with the payment and that they would send me an email, which I needed to accept, along with a confirmation message from my bank. The process had to be completed while they were on the line; it couldn’t be done later.

I found this suspicious, but since I had previously used the same search engine to find tickets without any issues, I decided to trust it. However, after completing all the requested steps, I started investigating further. I took a closer look at the website where I had made the purchase—it resembled a simple landing page rather than a solid, legitimate website.

That’s when I noticed some red flags: the email they contacted me from was ([email protected]) a regular Gmail account instead of a professional company domain. Additionally, the website had very low ratings on multiple Scam Tracker platforms. Worst of all, I never received a booking number that I could use to verify my ticket purchase with the airline.

Another name they use to scam (Best Airfare; CheapFlyingFares; AirlineReservation; Fly to destination)

FaresOFlights showed up as a third party airline ticket purchasing option when I did a search for flights. It seemed like a good deal and a less (but not extravagantly so) than deals on a few other sites, including the airlines themselves. Once I selected the flights and checked out, I received emails for the flights saying that it was a booking and to expect the e-tickets within 48 hours. Later that day I received a call from a New York number (607-545-1798) but I did not pick up. Shortly after I received an email from FlightOFares saying, "We would like to inform you that your flight booking is not confirmed yet. We tried to call you on the phone number that you entered while making the reservation however there was no answer, so we are writing to inform you that your booking is not confirmed yet. We request you to please call us back to discuss further. Also, please note that delay in contact may result in a price increase or losing out on this ticket. Your booking is important to us. Kindly call us back on +1 866 547 7443 as soon as possible, or reply to this email stating a convenient time to call you." I called back at the toll-free number and the person who answered didn't say the name of the company, only "Flight Reservations", so I thought I had entered the wrong number and ended the call. I got another incoming call from the NY number and then they left a voicemail saying it was "Harry" who was trying to get a hold of me because he needed to confirm something with me before the ticket could be confirmed. After doing a little research online trying to ensure the entity was real, I tried calling back at the toll-free number twice with no answer. I also replied to one of the three (3) emails I had been sent in a short amount of time requesting a call back. The next day I received another call from the NY number so I decided to answer this time. I was informed that the ticket price for flight A had gone up and they needed to confirm before they purchased it; it was still lower than directly from the airline's website so it was "still a discount". I let Harry know that I did not confirm to paying more. I asked why I was secured with one price they listed on their site, and then now it's more, and was told "it's not a live price on our website". I then told him that my travel plans have changed and I did not wish to move forward with booking. Harry said it would be a $25 cancellation fee, or he could still book me with ******** for the higher but still discounted price (he named the airline at least 8 times in the conversation). I told him no, I did not want to book that flight anymore and I would not pay a cancellation fee since they listed one price and were trying to charge me for another. I said that if they tried to charge me a cancellation fee I would refute it and cancel the card. Harry then brought up Trip B (****** flights selected), which somehow was now higher in price from when I booked as well. He offered to rebook me on another "greatly discounted" ******** flight. I told him no, I did not wish to rebook on ********, I selected those particular flights and ****** for a reason. He offered two more times. I repeated myself and said if I couldn't get the price I agreed to at the beginning then I wanted to cancel. I requested confirmation by email that booth bookings were cancelled and no charges were made. I received an email for both Trips noting, "We would like to inform you that your flight booking has been cancelled. As of now, your credit card has not been charged for any amount. Thanks & Regards, Customer Experience Team, Toll Free Number – +1 866 547 7443". Later today I received a notice from my credit card company of multiple possible fraudulent charges totaling over $3509. I called immediately and had the charges stopped/reversed and my card canceled. They tried another charge over $200 after that, which my card declined.
