Feeling weird, I read about scam operations thru fare buddies. I immediately contacted credit card, approx 10 min after, my charges hadn't posted, checked again 15 min later, still not posted-so i cancell3d my card. Credit comp said it'll be denied if they try to charge. I then called the email phone number and a very foreign man told me they are not scam and I can't cancel! Told them I just did, and he threatened me with being charged $8,000! I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND HIM, so I hung up. Do I have any thing to worry about, besides the fact they got our names and birthrdate and my address?
No other info besides credit card given. And again, I canceled card within 30 min, ni transaction had occurred on it?
