Russian Blue farm and Nicole's Russian Blue Cattery is a SCAM

I lost 300.00 to a Russian Blue Cattery claiming to originate in Alta North Dakota. The website looked totally legitimate with lots of information including several cats to choose from. We communicated through email and they responded promptly. They weren't pushy but did ask for a deposit which seemed reasonable. Several days later (today) they asked for another deposit insisting they didn't get it. But they did. I asked for the phone number and knew at that point they scammed me for the deposit.

I'm so disappointed and can't understand who would spend their day doing this. The website was changed to "Russian Blue Farm Company" from ND. Everything else is the same as when I was in contact with them. My not real kitten is still pictured on their website.

I found a website that claimed to have kittens for sale. I contacted them about the kittens looking to purchase one. They said that for $400 they would mail me the kitten. I sent the money in cash to a man named Bob Wilson using western union. Once he had the money, he said he was transferring the kitten to the transport company. Once he had done this, I began hearing from the transport company via e-mail. He told me that due to weather, he would need a deposit for a crate that would regulate the kittens body temperature. I was told that it would be an additional $1500 refundable deposit. I was asked to send this money to a Western Union account under the name Robert Thomas Jr. I told him I was unable to pay this deposit so he agreed to split the cost with me. I then wired the additional $659.99 to the original contact Bob Wilson using Western Union. Once he had this money, I was then contacted by the transport service once again saying they would need a $2500 refundable life insurance deposit for the kitten. I told him I was unable and unwilling to make this payment. He began threatening me telling me that pet rescue commission would come after me for $4000 for animal neglect. At point I told him I would be getting my attorney involved and he told me "good luck" and stopped contact with me.

This site is 100% a scam. They ask for a deposit for the kitten via Western Union. Then they ask for additional money ($1,500-$2,000) to fund a crate for the kitten to be shipped in. It's a two-part scam.

Is a fraudulent website. Not real kittens. Supposedly, these are 10-week old kittens. If you do a google images search you will find same pictures of these kittens published over 1-year ago. Same pictures are also being used in scam on other pet sites, in other Countries! The website is registered anonymously through cheapnames.com . The people will talk to you over facebook or texting. The phone they had listed this week is 240-624-0052. It is a google voice number, not a normal cell phone. The name the perpetrator uses is: Merwald Jordan. It’s a fake name. They say that they have a cattery (cat breeder) in Roundhill, Virginia. Nope. All made up. When you ask to talk with them, they will give you an excuse, like, “I’m at work and can’t talk” but the truth is it is a foreign scam call center.
