Omg me and my husband just got scammed for $2200 they said the puppy was 640 American but we live in Canada.. we are devistated.. they got out last dollar ee are a young family trying to move into a new home now we're not even able to pay the damage deposit or rent ?.. is there anything that can be done

Paid half of funds as a deposit and delivery fee. Was told they were delivering the puppy to me but then contacted by a delivery service that extorted more funds.

This company seemed legitimate. Claimed to be part of the AKC (American Kennel Club). My family fell in love with a pit bull puppy.they shared pictures and even videos. They were in constant contact with us. With everything going on, we thought it would be great to help our anxiety by adding a member to our family. Then they promised to have the dog delivered. We proceeded to make a payment and when we reached out to confirm receipt, the email address was no longer valid. We are trying to avoid this happening to others. Please beware of hackers who are taking advantage of a crisis to scam others.

Thought I bought a Pitbull from www.FamilyPitBulls, that was going to be shipped to Ohio from Atlanta. Upon delivery date was notified I needed to spend more money due to insurance money needed to cover flight cost. Luckily didn’t lose money on this too.
