Scammer called me and said my son had been in a car accident. He then told me my son had seen a drug deal gone bad and tried calling the cops. They said they had my son in the back seat of a pick up truck and I had to wire them $1500 to get my son back or they were going to sell him over the mexican border or kill him. The scammer said if I hung up then my son was dead. I texted my wife who called my son and realized he was ok so I stopped talking to the scammer. The scammer made 4 more attempts to contact me. The phone number used was 208-203-2498.
