I applied for a Data Entry, fully remote position. Was contacted by email to complete some additional information & download the Telegram app. I was given an interview & awarded the job through the app. I was then advised I would be receiving a check in the mail to purchase equipment to begin work. After a week went by - no check. I asked where it was and was advised it'd be sent by email. Thankfully - I was never sent any money.
