See attached invoice. I did not respond. I assumed this was a scam due to the payment being mailed to Iowa. I researched the Lafayette Indiana Municipal codes regarding false alarms and they state that there is no fee incurred for the first three false alarms in a calendar year. After that there are fees, correctly listed in the attached invoice, but they are paid to the City Clerk's office.
