I placed an order for a dress, paying via paypal. They advertise that they “SHIP WITHIN 8-24 HOURS AFTER PAYMENT. ” Well, even though they were paid immediately, I did not receive my package for about 5 weeks. When it arrived, the dress was crushed into a cheap plastic bag – which I had to be careful to remove as otherwise I would have cut into my garment. The return address on the label was not from Fallinher. It was listed as “Jane, 371 Little Falls Road, Suite 4, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009. (If you google this address, you will see that it is associated with numerous scams.) There was no packing slip, indicating what I had ordered, or how to handle returns. The dress itself was not what I had ordered. Upon inspection, there was no dress tag indicating that the dress came from Fallinher, or indicating what type of fabric was used to make the dress. I would guess that it was all rayon and elastine, as it was very thin and very cheap. There was no tag indicating how to launder the dress. I knew that I wanted to return this item. Fallinher advertises: RETURNS>> FAST REFUND FOR ANY DISSATISFACTION WITHIN 30 DAYS, 100% MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE. So, I used their email address advertised as: “Customer service at [email protected] to get the return address and don’t return the item to the address listed on our website.” So, I sent them an email – several times over the span of a week, and no response. I escalated it to paypal, starting a complaint at their resolution center, and also sent an email to Fallinher via paypal, and no response. Weeks went by and no response. Thank goodness paypal went to bat for me, as I finally did get a refund. It took persistance and determination. I googled Fallinher and found that it is listed as suspicious to scam advertising – wish I knew that ahead of time. I would suspect that all of this is stemming from somewhere overseas. Be forewarned, and don’t buy from Fallinher!! On their website, they advertise: “We believe in timeliness, and will do everything possible to satisfy our customers. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.” Just lies.
