Received a phone call. Caller ID had my phone number as calling. Caller claimed to be from my cell phone provider and stated that my account has been flagged for security violations. The caller asked me to input my SSN to verify my account and be transferred to the proper department to clear my account. I hung up and called my cell phone provider directly and they did not call me or flag my account. The provider claims it is a scam and transferred me to the fraud department to file an alert.
