This was done through an ad on Instagram advertising discount Birkenstock’s on July 04, 2023. The ad and the linked website appeared to be Dick’s Sporting Goods. After the purchase was made, I realized there was something wrong with the confirmation email. The small print didn’t have any legitimate company information and instead had the email

[email protected] As the only method of contact. I emailed to cancel the order. Since then, I’ve been getting emails saying my order is in transit and then I finally got one that said they cannot cancel it. I’ve since read many other scam reports connected to this account and nobody ever receives their purchase.
