I fell for the Facebook ad using AI generated endorsements by Oprah Winfrey and Dr. Ania Jastreboff for Lipomax. I placed the order online on 9/14/25 and then immediately regretted it and sent an email that I wanted to cancel the order. I received a response that they already shipped the product and could not refund my money, but offered a 50% discount and I could keep the product. Since then, I have received scam emails from PayPal, as well as phone calls 4-5 times per day from their "coaches". I have contacted my credit card company and initiated a fraud complaint.

It was a tent for sale that looked to be part of Costco.

A family member received an email from portlandleathersale.com regarding some bags for sale that were 'high brand' for cheap. A purchase was made from the website and a confirmation email was received that had a sending address of no_reply001 which tipped us off. The email was plain text and had a purchase total that was not equal to what was charged to our account (off by a few dollars).

Upon searching the internet for the company, another was found with a similar name of Portland Leather Goods that actually appeared in the Sponsored search result, where Portland Leather Sale was not found at all. The certificates from the website showed that it was made only a few weeks prior and GoDaddy WhoIs showed that matching address and phone number as this scam.

It was determined that the website was fraudulent and the email was phishing.

Saw it as a Facebook ad selling indestructible dog toys. Says that they will replace the toy if your dog tears it up.

Of course, the cheap toy was ripped up in 20 mins by my dog. I emailed them for a replacement. They wanted a video. I shared a video. Now they say that the damage was due to external factors and they aren’t replacing it. I have all the emails that I can send you. It’s a cheap dog toy and definitely not worth $20 a piece. They are a scam.
