I received a text that ask that go to Teams and meet with the hiring manager, Scott McGrady. The questions asked and info about job are identical to other person's experience. He told me that the check to purchase the equipment would be coming via UPS or FEDEX. Then he said it would be coming by the US mail. Then he finally said it would be emailed to me which would be deposited via mobile banking into a checking account. I was really suspicious by this time. When the check came through email, I immediately called the financial institution in Longmont, Colorado, to see if it was a scam. The company on the check was *** ***** ***. The bank employee told me it was a scam and to not deposit the check and that she had gotten a call from someone yesterday about the same thing. When I told Mr. McGrady that I caught him in a scam, he offered to send me a real check to which I laughed to myself. That check will never come. He assured me that the check is in the mail, and it will include directions on how to deposit it and return the funds to them. I am not going to do anything with them regardless of how many times they contact me. I will be contacting the local police to see if they need to add this to their watch list. People, be aware of this. They are using a real company as theirs. I hope the real company finds out and is able to prosecute them.
