Home Mortgage? Home Warranty? Lapse in coverage?
So, I call them, knowing it is all bull because do not I have a Home Warranty or mortgage.
I ask about my account and what it is for. They say it would be for coverage on plumbing, electric, appliances, etc. Then I ask what coverage I have.
Well, I do not currently have coverage, they say. It is just that the offer is expiring.
So, I say, well you are just trying to sell coverage then.
Well, they say, the home is over 50 years old. So what, I say. I have coverage through my homeowners, electric company, water company, sewer company, and BestBuy.
Well, they say, some people like to have it all in one payment.
I end the call very unhappy.
I actually called them 3 times to get the entire picture. Each lady who answered sounded very legit.
The letter is totally misleading. There is no address or website, just a phone number. 1.877.671.1027
Then, I called Fannie Mae Mortgage to see if by some change someone opened up a loan in my name. Nothing. However, they are aware of these scam letters.
