Looked like a legit site for JoAnn Fabrics. Had all the products and now many of each item were still available. Received an email with a tracking number -- which is when I discovered it was coming from China. Took 20+ days for the tracking website to say delivered, but it never was delivered.

Clicked on an ad for Joann Fabrics Clearance sale while scrolling on Facebook. I know better, but I totally fell for it. I added 80 items to my cart (multiples of several items such as sewing needles, etc), and the amount just kept getting lower the more stuff I added. My spidey senses were tingling, but I foolishly ignored them. I must thank Temu for that, as I've had nothing but success ordering from them. I went ahead and put in all my information. I wish they HAD asked me for my SSN, because then I would've KNOWN it was a scam. When the transaction didn't go through immediately (like it always does), but instead received an email before my card notified me of any transaction... I knew it then. I immediately locked my card, contacted cash app customer support, they then told me it was best to report my card stolen. Since the transaction is still listed as pending, there's nothing they can do unless it goes through. Once (if) that happens, I'll have the option to dispute the charge. Now for the tedious task of entering my new card info into my recurring payments and bills. This is why I stick to using cash as much as possible.
