I was looking for a Cavapoo puppy and found an ad for Faithful Cavapoo puppies online. I contacted them via email and purchased a male Cavapoo puppy with the name of Grayson for $600 and $250 for delivery to our home via Zelle transfer to [email protected]. Today on the scheduled delivery date we were contacted by Star-Delivery Agency via email with a tracking number. However, shortly afterwards we were told the shipping crate used by the seller was not appropriate for air travel and we could lease one for $900 and it would be fully refundable on return of the crate. What alarmed me that this was a scam was that payment was requested via Zelle transfer to Jhon Platero at [email protected]. I then told the seller that he could keep the dog and asked that he return the money he had been paid and I would call the police. He hung up and has not returned calls or email.
