So I called “Facebook” (it isn’t. I found out Facebook doesn’t have a contact number) because my actual Facebook had been compromised by a Nigerian scammer. Well this person, too, sounds like a Nigerian scammer. So anyways, he asked for some personal information claiming to be Facebook support and then asked me to download this app that would allow this insane terrible person to get remote access of my phone. Im glad that I stopped it before he got it by googling the number. Something didn’t feel right. The first thing I noticed was it didn’t sound like you were calling an 800 number business because it just rang and rang until some dude probably in his basement answered. And what’s worse is that this guy is preying on the most vulnerable people already- the ones who already had their Facebook compromised! So anyways, I about got got. I hope I save someone else from falling for this!!! FBI if you read this SOMEBODY do something about this because just due to being hacked in the first place, they gained access to all my finance accounts and personal accounts and if that’s not enough, this guy listed as the first thing you see if you Google Facebook contact number as “Facebook support”, is there waiting on the back end! Someone get him! I cussed him out and told him the police were already coming so don’t make me look stupid. Hope this helps!
