Fake facebook profile saying they were a known friend and even using their pictures contacted me through Facebook messenger. They told me that they just helped a church and received $80,000 for doing so. Then they told me that I could help the church and after doing so I would get $80,000 as well. They asked for my name, address, phone number, age, occupation, worth/income, mothers name and my email address. Their agent then contacted me through text messaging they told me all I had to do pay a shipping fee to receive the 80k. To pay the shipping I had to purchase and send them pictures of $750 in Amazon gift cards. I followed those instructions and was then told I had to send them another $400 in gift cards. At that point I told my friend and she informed me that it was a scan. When I checked it out, it was in fact a scam.
